Two things, maximize your windows and route the jaws to pc cursor. I find that
generally does the trick.

Subject: JAWS cursor not always reading the current window

When I switch to the JAWS cursor to try and review what's on a webpage, a lot
of times it'll be reading what's apparently the desktop and I can't get it to
review what's showing on the page I want to review. This also happens when I'm
using other programs than my web browser as well. Can't figure out what's
going on or how to correct this problem. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks in
advance.
