Hi Loravara,

I agree with Jim Grimsby Jr. I got a second sound card exclusively for JAWS, so nothing else can affect the JAWS volume. Additionally, I also got a mixer board, which allows me to control the volume of several different devices, each separately, using the volume controls on the mixer board itself.

   HTH,

   Don

What you reall ought to do is get a second sound card pipe jaws threw one
and your music threw the other. This is always the best salution to this
problem. Hth

Subject: JAWS and the Volume Control

Hi,

A few weeks ago I began to experience a strange problem with JAWS. The JAWS audio is very very loud, while audio for Winamp and other programs was very
very soft. So if I turned up Winamp, JAWS would become insufferably loud.

I don't know when this occurred, or why it occurred, and I'm not sure how to fix it, either. I've tried tinkering with the volume control a little bit,
but with no success. Any thoughts on what I should do to fix this?

Thanks.

Lora
