JAWS and braille Transcribing

Good evening. I have a totally blind friend who uses JAWS and wants to know
if it is possible to do Braille transcribing, including taking the
transcribing NLS course through NFB, with JAWS. He does not have a Braille
display. Has anyone successfully taken the transcribing course using only
the JAWS screen reader?
