I have used two displays. The first one I had was the power braille 80 and I
now have a braille star 80.
I was going to purchase a focus display but was convinced buy my dealer to go
with the braille star.

I absolutely love my braille star. Here are some of the features I find
wonderful:

1.. Quality of the display. This is top of the line. It puts FS's displays
to shame.
2.. The concaved braille cells for comfort in reading. I thought at first
that this was some marketing scheme, but it really makes my hands more relaxed
as I use the display during the day.
3.. The 8 dot keypad layout on the front below the cells. I find myself
using the display for many more windows commands then I did with my pb80.
4.. bility to plug into either USB or serial ports, or plug into two
computers and switch back and forth between them.

but as mmany have said, see if you can test drive displays. I was not able to
and purchased the braille star only on a recommendation. In my case it worked
out most excellent.
