Hello Harmony,

Press the start button and type resource Monitor and then press enter.
Control tab until you get to the memory tab and then use the Jaws cursor to
read down and find out what percentage of your memory is being used by the
applications you currently have running.

As I said previously, Skype seems to be the one application that causes me
to lose speech temporarily . I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit with
an I7 quad core processor and nine gigs of ram.
Cordially,

Let's not speak too soon because it's just decided to do it again. I thought
it might be something to do with the number of programs I'm running, but it
shouldn't be because windows 7 is designed to run several programs. Let's
see ... JAWS, avast, skype+skype talking, internet explorer, Qwitter and
outlook.

What JAWS 11 build are you using? I was using my ex's 64 bit laptop last
weekend and I can't see any JAWS related problems. She is using 11.0.1467.
