Do a system restore back to an earlier date before the problem began. To
get to system restore, go to the start menu and select programs; then select
accessories; then select system tools; and finally select system restore and
follow the instructions. This is a very powerful tool and should solve your
problem if you can restore back to a date prior to when the problem began.

Subject: JAWS Not Reading in IE and JAWS' Own Menus

At work, I run XP Pro with service pack 1. Recently, JAWS has stopped
reading menus and combo boxes in IE, and often doesn't read its own menus
(the one you bring up with Insert+J, for instance). Things were working
fine for months, but something changed, and I don't know what.

Sometimes JAWS will read a menu or combo box, and sometimes it won't. I
have no idea what is causing this.

It also only reads the Insert-F7 combo box in IE sporadically.

We run Service Pack 1, but recently, SP1 was reapplied across the network.
We backed this upgrade out, but the problems persist.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Lora
