We need to get our terminology right here. The term "full release" refers
to whether or not one can install the program from scratch, or whether it
requires a patch. To this end, JAWS 7.1 is a full release. It is an
update. They're all updates, everything past JAWS 1. What JAWS 7.1 is not
is a paid update, requiring additional payment beyond what you've already
paid for the program.

Just curious: How come the person isn't satisfied to just download 7.1 and install it? Why the concern with having it on CD? In fact, what is it that's protracted this thread for so long? I'm a bit baffled. I do hope everyone gets the information and Jaws version they need, but it's not clear
to me what the problem actually was in the first place.

If you have an SMA which included jaws 7.0, you should call them. You won't get one for 7.1 unless you want to pay $10 but 7.1 is just a patch so I probably wouldn't pay the $10.
