  I just tried navigating the classic Google home page with NVDA with the same 
result: typing echo is very sluggish as is response to keyboard commands.  So 
this is probably not a JAWS issue, but more likely an issue with classic Google.

      I haven't noticed it so much with typing but now going to the google
      homepage is very slow for me.  Once it loads though everything seems
      okay (jfw 10 here).
