I myself find that helpful.

To know I have gone to the bottom of my e mail.

Subject: JAWS Beep at top/bottom of lists

This is likely a stupid question...

In JAWS 8, there is a system beep whenever you hit the top or bottom of a
list, which is different from all of the prior JAWS releases.

I really do find this annoying though, not least because of the time delay
required to trigger the event and load the sound file. (Yes, it's only a
fraction of a second, but it's still annoying when it wasn't there before.) and
I would like to somehow return the behavior back to silence, or my personal
favorite in OE ("top of window").

I haven't been able to determine if there is a setting that can control this,
or if there is a script reference in the Default script file that triggers
this. Any ideas? Hopefully it's one of these, since it would then be easy to
fix. Otherwise, it might be hard coded, and it would be an uncorrectable
annoyance.

  Thanks for any input,

  Bryan Garaventa
