Try using the Verbosity menu and change the caps indicator from pitch change
to saying CAPS or Caps Caps. You'll need to make the change permanant if
desired.

in the spech and sounds manager you could try setting jaws to indicate the
capital with a sound. go to edit current scheem cntrl tab to the misc tab,
down arrow to cap, tab to the radial buttons, down arrow to play sound, tab
to the select wav file button.

Subject: JAWS And Capitalisation

Hello friends,

can anyone tell me if there is a way to make JAWS say Capital or something
when it comes across a word such as a name with an initial capital in
Microsoft word? I have the pitch changing but sometimes, to be honest, I
don't notice it, especially when in the spell checker.

the place to find it and under which menu would be really good if you can,

many thanks in anticipation,

Steve.
