Has anyone experienced the problem I had with Jaws 8 updates, with this new update to 9?. When I downloaded the last update to jaws 8 WordPerfect would always give me a message that :"this version of wordperfect does not currently respond to jaws communication, etc." Although wordperfect worked fine, I always got that message: it was at best, annoying. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Rumery" <blindfaith36@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Hey Josh, I am not experiencing any of the problems you are in the latest update to Jaws. I think that overall it is a pretty good build, but I have only been running it for an hour or so. I will let everyone know if I have anything to report.

Hi all, I've just updated to the latest version, and I'm not impressed with it. First, Eloquence now sounds as if there is a very short echo, a bit like a chorus. Second, when composing an HTML message in Outlook 2003, JAWS can't
keep up with my typing speed; it just grinds to a halt for a few seconds
then come back up again. Think I will notify Freedom Scientific and revert back to 9.0.552. However, has anyone else experienced these problems? If so how did you fix them? I can't duplicate the problems using JAWS 9.0.552 as
the latest build only produces these problems. Thanks in advance. Oh yes,
finally, JAWS seems to be slightly sluggish when I'm typing, and this
message is only in plain text! Thanks!
