JAWS 4.51 and Windows Update

I have JAWS 4.51.131 Running on Windows XP Home. From the start menu I
chose "Windows Update" and JAWS will only read the links and nothing else.
Is there a way to make JAWS 4.51.131 and The Windows update site work
better?
