When not using the player, I store the thumb drive so it doesn't get jostled. Prices can vary greatly, but over the years, they have come down and offer more capacity. I was wondering what brand to consider if important and is there a rule of thumb for price per gig. Also as this device will protrude from the player, are there ones that are compact enough so as to avoid unnecessary bumping and the like. Lastly, is the fit into the port universal? As I often freely admit, I'm too stupid to own this computer. <G> Mitch ----- Original Message ----- From: Adrian Spratt To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, November 26, 2010 11:14 AM Subject: RE: JAWS 12 & USB Flash Drives for BARD book machines Yes and yes. Any specific questions? the process works well. Further, will JAWS 12 announce simple navigation to this drive when properly installed? I am using the cartridge method at the moment but am looking for recommendations for a good value in a reliable flash drive to enable increased storage. Thanks for any guidance and tips.
