the biggest problem with access when I went through it, and I still use it on occasion! is finding out all the separate hot keys that jaws and windows has to do the things we need

you need to go through each tab, and get all the types of help in each (I.E. insert f1 twice quickly, insert h, insert w, and check all the menu's to note the changes that can take place in them under the influence of each tab.

in example, if I am remembering right, relationships could be handled in the tables tab and a sub menu of the applications/right click menu once more than one table was in existence.

long time back that info, currently I'm only running small cataloging databases for personnel items and collections so haven't needed to do a lot of work, there's just to many of the things out here that run just fine for me, right off the Microsoft website and office update.

Whenever I wanted to do queries, it was extreemely difficult and you had to use the jaws cursor with some tricks. The tab key doesn't seem to announce thing the way I wish it did. I could create databases, edit them, but it seemed very frustrating. I imagine office 2010 would have the same frustration. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Heather Campbell" <heather.campbell@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Subject: JAWS 11/12 with Access 2007/2010

Hello,
Does anyone out there have any experience (preferably a positive one)
with using JAWS 11 or 12 with MS Access 2007 or 2010? Specific issues
I'm having are related to creating relationships as part of query
creation and some inconsistancy with reading in tables (i.e., reading
the field you are tabbing away from). Does anyone have any advice,
work arounds, or can you point me in the direction of some good
resources?
Thank you!
Heather
