I also get the "no window active" message as well.

I have had some of the same issues using windows 7, not sure how to fix it
accept to alt tab back in to the window.

Iam how to fix this. But JAWS started doing this with in the last couple of
weeks. It will constantly lose focus randomly with out me doing anything.
But then when I am trying to work in Excel or Outlook or access the taskbar,
JAWS will lose focus. Any tips?
