Does the issue I reported on remind you of yours? The issue was
that with
JAWS 10.0.1154, I could not navigate message list views in Windows
Mail
nor
file lists in the Explorer environment. The solution which was
found was
to
delete the JAWS 10 shared items folder and then do a clean install
of JAWS
10.0.1154. It Took John Carson, (an fS tech support supervisor),
to solve
this. It should not have taken Mr. Carson to have to take his time
out to
work with me on this one. Any FS tech support agent should have
been able
to suggest the things he suggested. Every so often, I do have to
unload
and
restart JAWS, and sometimes, I do need to log off and log on again in
order
to get JAWS to focus correctly. I can only hope that JAWS 11 is
going to
be
much more stable with regard to all these matters we've been
bringing up.

Not JAWS 10 but JAWS 9 will routinely (as much as once a day) stop
reading list items with the arrow. For example tabbing from the OE
folder list to the message list is supposed to read the message
highlighted, but it does not. Only way I've found to quickly
remedy is
to
kill JAWS and re-start.

Hello,
I'm having a recurring and repeated problem with jfw 10 on multiple
machines have i seen this. Jaws will stop reading and behave as i've
got a completely blank screen, icons will not be read arrowing
through
dialog boxes will say no selected items yet not read out what the
items are. This initially occurred on two laptops one for sure
when i
would lower the screen to conserve battery power this has a wireless
keyboard on it, and then raise it again, that seemed to start it.
Now
it is happening on a desktop machine as well. I'm not certain if
it's
offscreen model, focus, or something caused whenever video intensive
apps load. Has anyone else seen this?
