Hi Bill,

I too have found this problem with the latest build of JAWS 10. What I have
noticed is that it works fine if I select several lines in a paragraph;
however, as soon as I select a blank line, such as the blank line between
paragraphs, then cursoring down only selects the first character on the next
line. So, I have to cursor down again, with the Shift key held down, to get the
rest of that line and it often picks upsome of the next line below that as well.

Sadly, this reminds me of the issue of telephone numbers being read
incorrectly ever since the third build of JAWS 9, which they still haven't
fixed. It is annoying when something that was working fine becomes broken in a
latest version of JAWS and even more annoying if nothing is done to put things
back the way they were in earlier versions.

    Just my 2 cents worth,

    Don

I just updated to JAWS 10.0.1154, and now find that line selection with
shift+Down Arrow is broken, selecting only part of lines.

When I called FS technical support, they suggested that I wait and upgrade to
JAWS 11 when it is released. In the meantime, my use of Word is less than
satisfactory, and there is no guarantee that a bug fix will be released, since
version 11 will soon be released. There seems to be a total lack of motivation
on F. S. part to fix the problem, since it will be more lucrative for them to
suggest that customers pay to upgrade to the new release.

I have made my opinion known via telephone, and have written to
suggestions@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have enjoyed JAWS, but feel that it is unfair for those of us who may not
be able to upgrade to be left with an unpatched product.

  Thank you.
