No, I haven't. However, I'm not including FS Support on the thread, since it's been identified as a common problem and not just a JAWS 10 one. I unchecked the display an alert option, and it still repeatedly says "so and so - conversation" for a couple minutes after the receipt of a new message, until such time as we bring that conversation window to the active focus. It never used to happen to me until several versions ago and I have never been able to work out how to stop it from doing this dam annoying thing. graham ----- Original Message ----- From: James Homuth <mailto:james@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, April 13, 2009 6:39 PM Subject: JAWS 10 + Windows Live Messenger question I just installed JAWS 10.0 plus latest update on my girlfriend's computer this week, and I'm noticing something that doesn't happen on my own. When someone sends an IM using Windows Live, it continuously repeats the conversation title window until either the window is brought into the foreground, or a period of 2 minutes or so passes. At first, I thought it was because of something in Windows Live flashing to gain attention and let us know we had an IM waiting for us, but she has enough useable sight to be able to tell that isn't the case. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this particular issue, and if so, how best to go about the business of stopping it from happening. As I said, running 10.0 with most recent update, plus Windows Live 8.1. Any help would be appreciated.
