If you run the authorization manager you can determine which versions of Windows your copy of JAWS is authorized for. Do the following: 1. Execute C:\JAWS50\HJAUTH.EXE 2. In the Auth manager dialogue, under availble commands, choose "Get Authorization Information" 3. Hit the Execute button 4. Tab to the information area and scroll up or down until you find the "allow Windows95" and "Allow WindowsNT" lines 5. If "Allow WindowsNT" is yes, you've got the Pro version Doug -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gary Jackson Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2004 6:15 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: JAWS Hi Marcel, There is no such thing as jaws standard and jaws proffessional. The only difference in anything is the actual authorization key. If running windows 95, 98,m e, or xp home, you are likely using the standard authorization because it's all nessasary. If running windows NT, 2000, or xp pro you have to have the proffessional authorization key.
