Go into the configuration manager and get to the default configuration file with
control+shift+d
Choose synthesiser options and there should be a box for primary synthesiser.
You could alternatively choose installation mantenance under
programs->jaws->tools. Select the radio button which says modify installation
and from there select eloquence as your synth.

Hi:
I made a mistake while installing 610 and chose sapi 5 instead of eloquence.
I know how to change synthesizers in the language tab, but this only changes
it for the current session, when I reboot I am back to sapi 5. Do I have to
uninstall and reinstall to get eloquence as my default synthesizer, or is
there a way of fixing this without uninstalling?
