I don't have 7, on here but I do have 11 - might this still work for putting
in the code? I don't want to end up in 40 min mode for the next week!

It is a 20-character code. If you install JAWS 12 to a computer with JAWS 7
already installed, the edit field for the code should auto-populate with the
code, since it's in your registry.
If/when it does, copy and paste it to a text file somewhere where you can
find it later, should you ever need to start from scratch.
Alternative is to call Freedom Scientific and give them your JAWS serial
number, and they should be able to look up your 20-character code and give
over the phone.

Hi,
I want to install Jaws 12, but realised I would need my authorisation
number. I have found it on the cd for 7.0, but it's in grade 0 or something
and is spread over 2 lines so it's very hard to decipher!
Is there anywhere else to find it - IE from the jaws about options and then
copy and paste it into word?
Otherwise, what should it look like - how many numbers and what other
symbols. I know it's in print, but there's no one round to read it to me -
and it really annoys me that I can't do it myself. I don't want to mess it
up, otherwise I might mess up the whole installation!
