Cindy, if you seriously cannot connect to the net to activate JAWS, consider
activating using a code from www.fsactivate.com, or contact your local
dealer and they will help you activate it.

OK, I found that I'm typing the code correctly, but I 'm not connecting to
the internet. I have to figure out how to get into Network Connections to
check my wireless connection information. This is all so new and very hard
to do in 40 minute mode with JAWS.

You must be typing in the code incorrectly.
Here is what I would do.
I am sure you have another computer with the cd drive.
If I remember correctly, the authorization cd should put the 20-digit code
in an edit box.
I would take that code and then just copy and paste it into a text file
and/or just have both computers there with you and type it in manually into
the netbook.
What I have done for a long time is keep a text file with my 20-digit code
on a thumb drive so I do not need the auth cd when I am installing on pcs
since activation is done over the internet anyway.
