ILM and Replacing components

Hi Everyone,
I've ordered a new CD burner for my computer because the one I have now died on
me. I've heard that swapping out components in Jaws 6.0 will cause it to not
recognize your computer's personal ID number, and want you to reauthorize Jaws.
Anyone know anymore about this?
