There is a possibility the address bar was moved or jiggled out of position. To restore it is tricky without sighted assistance. Look for the address bar items with your Jaws cursor and when you find it, hit the left mouse button twice quickly and it will bounce bac into place. A sighted person with a mouse can just double click with a mouse anywhere in the address bar field. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nolan Crabb" <ncrabb@xxxxxxxxx>

Subject: IE Address Bar

I'm writing this with some fear and trembling, and I'm hoping for the
forgiveness and compassion of the list collectively, since I'm extremely
sure this has been covered ad nauseum on this list.

I can no longer read the address bar in IE 7 after having upgraded to
9.0.2152. I'm sorry to write like this. I just mindlessly deleted those
other messages that appeared early after the update was released, assuming
that whatever the problem was, it wouldn't be mine.

Prior to 9.0.2152, I could do an Alt+D and read the URL of the current page
in IE 7. I'm no longer able to do that. Granted, my verbosity is set to
advanced, but it was prior to the update as well.

Again, please forgive me for writing about something all of you covered and
got behind you. I promise to do better about reading messages even if I
don't think I'm ever going to have a problem with that topic. You all know
what they say about pride going before a fall. When I hit the send key to
e-mail this message, I will have tumbled from an inappropriately lofty place
... and it serves me right! :-)

Regards,

Nolan
