Locate on your hard drive a file with an extension similar to the kind of file you are opening in IE 9 (such as .wav, .mp3, .wma, etc). Right click this file with the Jaws curser (brings up the context menu). Scroll down to the "open with sub menu" option. Right arrow to open this menu. Then select the option "choose default program..." From there, select WinAmp as the desired default program for that file type. If you don't know the exact file type you are trying to play through IE 9 - then you may need to set Winamp as the default for several different file types before it works as desired.
