Addison, you don't need a new tower. Your options depend on what you need to do. What program is on the DVD? Do you expect to have regular need for a DVD player? It's possible the program you own (on the DVD) can also be downloaded directly to your computer from manufacturer. Otherwise, you'll want to purchase an external DVD drive, about the size of a paperback book, needing power and a physical connection through a cable to your existing computer. They are not super expensive. Since many programs now are delivered on DVD disks, this might be practical for you.

Hi Addison
Unless you get a dvd drive, as far as I know there's really no way you can play a dvd on your computer, because it's a hardware thing not a software thing.
