I NEED HELP CONFIGURING MY PRINTER!!!

Hi Everyone;
I recently purchased an HP OFFICEJET 5500 SERIES printer.
I can print from my main computer, which is hard wired to the printer.
However, I am unable to print from my laptop.
The laptop is connected through a wireless router.
I did everything I could to be certain that it is configured correctly
however, I just can't get it to work.
If anyone has a few minutes, maybe we can spend a little time on the phone
and get this problem resolved.
