Robert,

Deferag doesn't get rid of anything. All defrag does is move file clusters to
store them more efficiently on your hard-drive for quicker access. You need a
spyware removal tool such as spybot S&D or AdAware to remove spy files. You
can use cleanup tools for getting rid of junk like .tmp files.

I like to run a little search routine to get rid of unneeded files. From your
windows find files box, enter this exactly as written:

*.tmp,*.chk,~*.*

NOTE: Each item is separated by a coma. Make sure you preceed the final *
dot * with a tilde, otherwise, you'll delete every file on your PC, something
you definitely want to avoid.

Hope this was helpful
