Thanks. I did understand this from earlier responses. But in this case, I had not aaltered anything at all, not one semicolon. I simply had moved from one version of Jaws to a newer one, and this was detected as a reason to get me to recompile the .jss file. lteed ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Hebert" <roberthebert@xxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, June 29, 2005 7:55 PM Subject: Re: How to recompile a specific script? You rewrite the JSS file(source code). When you compile the source file--(Jss file) it becomes recognizable as code that the computer understands. So, when you make changes to the source code and compile or translate it into computer code, the jsb file gets changed, or retranslated or in computer jargon, recompiled. So, It is only the jsb file that is actually getting recompiled after the text file or source code--jss file has been modified. -- To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
