Jerry:
Thanks, I have all three checked but the "show the auto protect in the tray"
says "unavailable" and it does not appear in the tray.

After opening System Works, tab to options and enter. Arrow down to
anti-virus and enter. There you will tab to find "Enable Auto-Protect
(recommended)...Start Auto-Protect when Windows starts up
(recommended)...Show the Auto-Protect icon in the tray."

I have those checked. I no longer have the firewall, but I imagine it is
similar.

No I have a "Norton systems work" and I have looked every where I can
think
of to find a option to add Norton to the system tray(JawsKey+F11) or an
option to temporarily disable Norton.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,

for some reason when I press insert f11, Norton's anti virus doesn't
appear
in my system tray but it is active. I check this using windows xp task
manager.

Hal running windows xp and sp2

You can disable anti-virus by finding it in the system tray, pressing
the applications key and arrowing down to disable. I don't have Norton's
firewall, but I imagine itworks the same.

You don't have to exit Jaws. The installation wizard usually takes over.
This is another assumption since I don't have the CD yet.

Hello, I just got my JFW 7.0 software. Every time I try to install it,
I mess up. Now, do I unload the current version of Jaws before I
install the next version? That is, do I press insertF4, "Quit Jaws for
Windows? Now, the instructions say that you should not be running the
firewall or the antivirus program so how do I turn them off? Thank you
for your help at this time.
