hi, usually I do shutdown every night, but just replaced a bad memory module and testing the system with long times up to make sure the new module fixed my problem I was having. If you believe Jaws becomes exhausted in some way from running too long, why not turn off your computer from time to time,or at least exit and relaunch Jaws on your own recognizance now and then? Would that help? Or is there something about your work that requires you to never turn off your computer? Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Harmon" <rickharmon@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, February 05, 2006 6:39 PM Subject: Re: How does one kill Jaws? MessageHi Jim, I am having a problem where I do a INS F4 to unload JAWS because its gotten upset usually after a day or two of running. Then the system gets ticked off. I do the run thing and no JAWS. I do a Windows Key U to get narrator up then save everything and reboot since JAWS simply refuses to reload for me. Thats why I was asking about killing JAWS so I could reload it, not sure if this is the other guys problem or not.
