You can delete the MS-Word.jsb file from your user settings enu folder. That
may work. Another safer way would be to launch JAWS, then open the option
menu. Then select "Manage Applications". Then arrow down until you hear
MS-Word xxx checked and uncheck it and press Enter to save. Now any user
settings for MS-Word are temporarily disable. See if MS-Word work properly
now.

IF so, then I recommend you uncheck the application again, and move all the
MS-Word.xxx files from the user setting enu folder to somewhere else and
copy them back, one at a time until you get the error -- that's the one
that's broken.

Can't tell you how to fix it, but perhaps there's a backup copy in the
shared settings folder?

Or failing all that, do a repair on JAWS.

Dave

Subject: How do you fix a jaws script?

I'm not really sure how this happened, but this morning when I was in
word jaws said something about a script error and then the script for
microsoftword came up. I was in a hurry so I told it not to save the
changes. Now I can't use the tab key in wthe dialog boxes etc in word.
I'm using the latest version of jaws and word 2003.
