Yeh I’m using Windows 7 and think that feature is only available in Windows 7 Peter From: Mike & Barbara In Arcadia Sent: Friday, December 31, 2010 8:36 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: How can JAWS recognize the file size and format automatically? Hi Dave; Using XP, with detail view checked, I get the same results as you and can't get any information using the arrow keys. Which leads me to the question, what operating systems are Peter & Kimsan running? I know Kimsan runs Windows7 but, I don't know about Peter. Daniel, good point! Take care. Peter, IF you're using Ctrl+Alt+arrow, then that's what I hear, also. Hi, if I've understood correctly, in windows explorer set the view to details under the view menu. Then as you move down to a file, you can press left and right arrow keys to move to the various bits of information i.e. file type, size etc. Peter -----Original Message----- From: mostafa almahdy Sent: Tuesday, December 28, 2010 4:24 AM To: jfw Subject: How can JAWS recognize the file size and format automatically? just as it in the subject line -- Best Wishs.
