I received a few messages but none of them seem to help.

I tried that but did not understand how to use any of the key strokes
listed. They do not give any keystrokes for getting to the hot mail in
box, selecting messages, reading messages, or writing new messages.

I created a hot mail account in Outlook Express and received over a
thousand old mails that were on my server, including all the old junk
mail. But not the 5 that were in my new hotmail account. The reason my
friend wants to use hot mail is that her server only allows one screen name
and her daughter is using it. Whereas they thought they could have two
screen names in hot mail accounts.

Another suggestion was

How do I get to "the link of the sender"? Hitting "f" does not get me to
anything useful.

What options are you talking about? Tools, options, or internet
options. In neither do I find and option called
Hotmail navigation.

And if I can't read the message, how can I get the link to reply?
