yes it will but it is mainly geared around music files.I would suggest something like Nero for doing general work, I think that you can pick up an OEM copy for a few pounds. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sherrie Gosling" <sillygoose4@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Would this Easy CD DA extractor allow me to burn files to DVD?My Dell is supposed to have that capacity but the software they included was Roxio which is totally unfriendly. My computer crashed two weeks ago so I did not re-install the Roxio. My warranty on the laptop runs out soon so I would really like to be able to test the DVD burning capacity. I especially want to use it to back up files and make DVD's of the home movies we have for my family.Burning CD's is fairly easy with the built in software from Microsoft. I just press the applications key on a file and choose send to "CD DVD drive D. Then when you are ready to burn just put in a blank CD and choose "Write these files to CD from the menu. But I really want to put files on a DVD since the capacity is so much greater. Thanks so much. Choose your files, bring up your context menu, choose audio or data CD or DVD, press F8, and away you go. www.poikosoft.com.
