Hello Walter,

Now I could be wrong, but I think that there are other  ways of  getting a
virus.

Does Norton scan  files, books and music that we  down load from the
internet?  For a number of viruses once they are  activated, one of the
first places  they go is to ones address book and then  can be attached to
outgoing messages.

So it just seems like good insurance  and a kindness to those in ones
address book to protect outgoing messages also.
