Hello Walter,

Let me explain why I even brought up this subject. First a bit of back
ground. I try to up grade nortons definition files at least twice a week
and after this then run a full system scan. Also I have my settings set
to stop and ask what to do with the virus both for full system scan and
for email scanning.

Now here is waht happened. The other night after the massive hit on Yahoo
and Debbies list getting swamped with bunches of bogus yahoo alerts,
actually viruses, I up loaded the definition files and ran a full system
scan, which told me that it had captured four viruses. When I checked in
the norton quaranteen list I found four viruses which were caught with
the new definition files, but here is my question and concern, there were
seven other viruses and only two do I remember norton identifying the week
before in incomeing email. In other words there were five unaccounted
for files and the only thing I can attribute them to is for finding them
in outgoing email.

Is there any other way they could have been captured?
