I wonder if it is actually to do with Outlook Express 6. It has a default security setting that does not allow attachments to be saved. You can alter it by getting into Tools/Options and select Security. There is an option to untick Do not allow attachments to be saved. ----- Original Message ----- From: Judith Bron To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, May 09, 2006 10:40 PM Subject: Re: Help for a friend I had 5.1 for ages and it worked just fine. It doesn't have all the features of jaws 7 but it works adequately depending on what she expects to do with it. She has the windows firewall installed. Because of this, she cannot receive attatchments, is there a fire wall that is better for her to use?
