done what I wanted.

If your message format is HTML, you can set headings using the 'Styles' 
sub-menu under the 'Format' menu when composing a message.

    Hello Brian,
as far as I know, heading is only found on web pages. If a document has a
heading, that's the only time you can press h to read it. But if you want it
to put in your document, you can do it by using html formats. But you can't
do it in word. I hope it helps you.
