Subject: Gold Wave and setting decibel levels

Hi friends,
I am using Gold Wave 5, Windows XP pro and Jaws 7.2. I have copied a Bible
consisting of 48 cassettes to CD. I, first, copied the
cassettes into my computer then used Gold Waves batch processing to match the
volume and bump the volume by 10
decibels. I have now been asked to transfer a lecture series consisting of 10
cassettes to CD and this time they want the same
volume level as the Bible. The only thing is that the volume level of the Bible
cassettes and the lecture cassettes are definitely
at very different volume levels. Is there a way to see what the volume level is
in

decibels on one of the Bible audio files and then use the batch processing
option to to set, what will be 20, sixty minute audio
files from the lecture audio files to the same

decibel level as the Bible. If there is, how do I find the Bible

decibel level? And last where would I set the batch processing to do this
feat? Any help would be appreciated,

Brian
