it's possible that reinstalling will help.  One or two people have run into
the auth issue that you have.  If 5.0 still works without going into demo
mode, it has something to do with 5.1 not recognizing the authorization for
some reason, so doing anything with the authorization will probably not
change that.  I would say in summary then to uninstall and reinstall 5.1 and
see if that cures the problem.

I do have JAWS 5.0 and I do have an Authorization disk. Running a repair
seems to be more of the best thing to do for this situation I guess. Sorry I
didn't give you more info before when I wrote the message I just wanted to
get the problem fixed as soon as I could. Or, would you still suggest to
reinstall JAWS 5.10 again?
