Getting files/folders to show size

Hello all,
Using Jaws 9, newest update, and W/Vista. In the folder options on the control
panel, I have show file/folder size checked. But when I go to a file/folder and
press the Jaws/Page down key nothing is said.
What do I have to do to get Jaws to tell me the size of these items?
Should I have details highlighted for every where I want to have file size
recognized?
