I just found an accessible program which lets you receive your GMail in
Outlook Express.
You just install it and configure an account in OE as per their
instructions.
Here is the information from the website:
http://www.vspire.com/
Download psGmail 1.2.3 now! Free trial
Now only sales $7.90

First, run psGmail if it is not already running. There is no interface to
see most of the time, except for a small icon in your Taskbar Notification
Area. You can right-click on this icon to set options(configure menu item),
although most users will not need to change the settings from their
defaults.
To configure your e-mail client, setup a new POP account to check mail
from. For the POP server's address, type "127.0.0.1" (or if you modified the
psGmail options, use whatever you changed the address to). Type the same for
the SMTP server address For the login / username for this account, use your
full Gmail address, for example "nickname@xxxxxxxxx". Finally, your password
will be the same as your normal Gmail password.
For some e-mail clients, you will need to enable SMTP authentication,
and specify the same username and password as for POP.
Now just check your mail as usual. The account you just configured will
retrieve your Gmail messages! by the way, you can double click on the tray
icon of psGmail for check new email.
