I had no problems adding the page to favorates or scanning for any updates. Of course I'm using win98, the non-se version, and MS Office 97 so no updates were found. I also temporarily disabled my spybott resident before running the updates. An example like yours is why I really hate client-side scripts. Hi, folks. I'm on a Windows 98 SE system, and I just did a Windows Update. There were 2 critical updates, and one of them featured an update using GDI+ software. After I did the update, I was taken to the website where there was more info on GDI+, and when I tried to add that page to my IE6 favorites, my system crashed. Strage!!! Anyway, after I rebooted and recovered from the crash, I went back into Windows Update and did a search on GDI+. I found that GDI+ is a graphics enhancement interface, and I especially found one thing that I'm wondering about: the information I found says that graphics rendered by GDI+ can't be enlarged by screen magnification systems. So I wonder: how will this GDI+ affect our use of Jaws and other screen-reading software? Has anyone seen these recent Windows Updates? Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks. I have but one goal in this life, and that is not to set any goals. I prefer dreams; they don't have a time limit. -- To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
