MessageJim, Are you definitely needing multi-track recording? If so, you will need to consider a complex program like Audacity or Sonar. If all you want to do is to record from a microphone or line input then Sound Recorder will work fine, and it's available with Windows XP. It's located here: C:\WINDOWS\system32\sndrec32.exe Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Tanja M To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, February 23, 2009 12:15 PM Subject: Re: Free recording software Hello Gym, Have you tried Easyrecorder? It works well but only saves in WAV format. You could convert the wav files later though. It's a free program. You could also try Goldwave which isn't free but works well with jaws. Can anyone here help with another free recording software for Windows XP that works well with Jaws 8? Cheers, Jim
