MessageHi David,

This is from a tutorial on using the Format Painter in Excel. The web site is
the James Madison University:
http://www.jmu.edu/computing/ittraining/tutorials/microsoft/excel/format/cells/format.shtml

The Format Painter button copies formats from a cell or range to another cell
or range. This button prevents you from having to individually apply the
formats to each cell or range every time you want to format cells. For example,
if you apply bolding, italics, underlining, and shading to a cell, you can
apply all of these formats, at one time, using the Format Painter button.

It is kinda nice to know that can be done, but I have never used it.

Francis
