Format painter in Microsoft Excel

I am using Excel 2000, but my problem is the format painter. Sometimes I need
to use the format painter but I can't find it in the format menu. Is there a
keyboard shortcut for it to use? I even use the root jaws to Pc but I can't
locate it. I hope you can help me. Thanks.
