Uncheck indented characters.

Sadly (I think, anyway), text formatting was taken out of versions of
JAWS5 and upwards and replaced deficiently with the Sound Schemes -
which can do many things, but not the minute attention to detail that
text formatting allowed one to give.

Subject: Format options question

Hi,

I'm using JAWS 4.5 and MS Word 2000.

I want to be able to hear about text formatting. In Configuration
Manager
under Format Options I have it set so that the "Speak Text Formatting"
checkbox is checked. All the following checkboxes are checked:

Speak Text Formatting - Attributes;
Speak Text Formatting - Font;
Speak Text Formatting - Point Size;
Speak Text Formatting - Foreground Colour;
Speak Text Formatting - Background Colour;
Speak Text Formatting - Capitalisation;
Speak Text Formatting - Indented Characters;

I do want to know all these things, but I don't want to know about
pixels.
At the moment this is an example of what I hear:

"178 pixels normal 12 point 23 November 2004".

Is there a way of still being told about the font, point size,
attributes
etc but without the pixels? Which one of the checkboxes relates to
pixels?
I've tried different combinations of them being checked/unchecked but it
doesn't seem to make any difference.

Catherine
