Hi,

There are two sets of laptop keystrokes in jaws, one being classic and =
the other using the cap lock. If you are using the latter, try the =
classic laptop.

Subject: Format Key

This is a bit strange, and there has to be a simple explanation, but one
escapes me.
When I press the JAWS key together with the letter "F," I get much
different results on my laptop than I get on my desktop machine.
On my desktop, the attributes, including the style, are read out, but no
box remains on the screen.
On my laptop, a message box appears giving the same information. I can
arrow around in this message box. I need to hit escape to get rid of
it.
If I want to know a particular style, being able to arrow over the style
name is pretty valuable.
I would like to control when I get the message box and when I just hear
the data read out.
Please don't say "press the key twice quickly." I know about that, and
that is not the result I want.

Thanks in advance!
