I asked a similar question and was told by several people that at the
current time, JAWS doesn't support Firefox Mozilla, but I'm not sure if
other screen readers do or not.
I actually wrote to them because it says on their site that their
browser
is screen reader friendly, though it did not state which screen readers
Mozilla supports. But I never got a response. Far as I know, JAWS only
supports Internet Explorer.
